25th October, H. E. Mr. ITO Naoki called on Hon'ble Foreign Minister H.E. Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen.
Hon'ble Foreign Minister H.E. Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen expressed appreciation for Japan’s contribution in the field of economic development of Bangladesh. He also stated expectation of reinforcement of bilateral cooperation in the fields of politics, economy and culture toward the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bangladesh in 2022. Regardnig the Rohingya crisis, H. E. Mr. ITO Naoki said Japan would continue to support Bangladesh and work towards repatriation of Rohingya people.
