Ambassador IWAMA Kiminori paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen

On January 10, 2023, Ambassador IWAMA Kiminori paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen.

Both sides reflected on the longstanding friendship between Japan and Bangladesh, and cordially exchanged views on various issues including Japanese development assistance, trade and investment, “Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP)”, “Rohingya” refugees and other bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, Ambassador IWAMA expressed his commitment to keep supporting Bangladesh’s development and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
