Ambassador IWAMA sends a video message to the signing ceremony of the friendship city between Naruto City, Japan and Narayanganji City

          

    On Tuesday, March 28th, a signing ceremony between Naruto City (Japan) and Narayanganji City (Bangladesh) was held in Naruto City and Ambassador IWAMA Kiminori sent his video message to grace the ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Ms. Salina Hayat Ivy, Mayor of Narayanganji City, companies and students from the city, Mr. Michihiko IZUMI, Mayor of Naruto City, Minister Mr. Sheikh Farid, Minister of the Embassy of  Bangladesh in Japan, Mr. Masato WATANABE, President of the Japan-Bangladesh Association, and many other related organizations and companies.

    “This is the achievement made by all the people who have committed to strengthen the relations between two cities. Today is a memorable day to remember such efforts, but at the same time today is also the day for new start to further deepen the relationship between Japan and Bangladesh”, said Ambassador IWAMA.

     Naruto City became the first friendship city for Bangladesh. The friendship city cooperation is expected to further promote culture, education, economy, and people-to-people exchange between the two cities as well as Japan and Bangladesh.
