     On October 4, 2026, Ambassador Saida attended the Annual General Meeting and Networking Dinner hosted by Japan Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JBCCI) in Dhaka.
 

     In his remarks, Ambassador Saida congratulated the newly elected directors and commended JBCCI’s efforts to strengthen economic ties between Japan and Bangladesh. He reaffirmed Japan’s commitment to working closely with the Government of Bangladesh to support the country’s continued development under the Japan-Bangladesh Strategic Partnership. He also expressed his hope that JBCCI would play an even greater role in promoting bilateral trade and investment and deepening ties between the two countries.
