On 2 March 2026, Minister Takahashi, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh, visited Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). He expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, Professor A. M. Sarwaruddin Chowdhury, and other faculty members for serving as an important bridge between Japan and Bangladesh, drawing on their firsthand experience as alumni of the Japanese Government Scholarship at Japanese universities.
