     On 1 March 2026, Minister Takahashi, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh, visited Research, Training and Management International (RTMI) in Sylhet.

     Dr. S. M. Faridul Islam Latifee, Director of RTMI, expressed his sincere appreciation for the facilities and medical equipment provided by the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh through the Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects (GGHSP).
Minister Takahashi commended RTMI for its contributions to improving healthcare services in the Sylhet community with support from the Government of Japan.
