On April 22, Mr. TAKAHASHI Naoki, Chargé d'affaires ad interim, attended the contract signing ceremony of the Matarbari Port Development Project between Chittagong Port Authority and Pentaocean/PT JV. Offering his congratulations on this momentous occasion, he expressed his hope that,as one of the flagship projects under the BIG-B (Bay of Bengal Industrial Growth Belt) initiative, the development of the Matarbari Port would contribute to further strengthening the Strategic Partnership between Japan and Bangladesh by building industrial value chains and enhancing connectivity in Bangladesh and beyond.
