Chargé d'affaires ad interim of Japan delivered a lecture on “Contemporary Japan: Its Foreign Policy, Security and Development Strategy and Japan-Bangladesh Relations” at National Defence College
On 20th July 2025, Mr. TAKAHASHI Naoki, Chargé d'affaires ad interim of Japan to Bangladesh, delivered a lecture on “Contemporary Japan: Its Foreign Policy, Security and Development Strategy and Japan-Bangladesh Relations” at the National Defence College (NDC), Bangladesh.
In his lecture, Chargé d'affaires ad interim TAKAHASHI made a presentation regarding Japan’s security strategy and diplomacy including its vision for a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP).” He also elaborated on the Japan-Bangladesh relations under the Strategic Partnership.
97 course members, including those from 18 countries, attended the lecture and discussed the bilateral relations between Japan and Bangladesh and other international issues.
