     On August 17, H.E. Mr. SAIDA Shinichi, Ambassador of Japan to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Mr. Md. Shahriar Kader Siddiky, Secretary, Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance signed the Exchange of Notes on the Japanese Grant aid titled “the Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS)”.

     JDS provides young Bangladeshi government officials with opportunities to pursue graduate degrees in Japan. Upon their return, they are expected to apply their knowledge and experience to Bangladesh’s development and further strengthen our Strategic Partnership.
