Conferral of Ambassador’s Commendation upon Lt. Col. (Retd.) Quazi Sajjad Ali Zahir
On August 20, 2026, H.E. Mr. SAIDA Shinichi, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh conferred the Ambassador’s Commendation to Lt. Col. (Retd.) Quazi Sajjad Ali Zahir at the Ambassador’s residence in Dhaka. Ambassador SAIDA expressed his sincere gratitude and respect to Lieutenant Colonel Zahir for his outstanding contributions to carrying out the recovery of the remains of Japanese soldiers who lost their lives in Bangladesh and to greatly deepening the friendship between Japan and Bangladesh.
