On October 12, 2023, Ambassador IWAMA Kiminori paid a courtesy call on Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, OSP, NPP, ndc, ncc, psc, Chief of Naval Staff, Bangladesh Navy, who was newly appointed as Chief of Naval Staff in July this year.
Both sides cordially exchanged views on the defense cooperation under the “Strategic Partnership” between the two countries.
