 On January 20, Ambassador IWAMA hosted the annual New Year’s Reception at his Residence. Approximately 200 Japanese residents in Bangladesh and others attended the reception and deepened their friendship with each other while enjoying Mochitsuki (the pounding of rice to make mochi) and Osechi (Japanese traditional New Year foods).
