Ambassador of Japan delivered a lecture “Prospects of Economic and Security Cooperation between Japan and Bangladesh” at the Defence Services Command and Staff College.

    
 

 
On 11th June 2024, H.E. Mr. IWAMA Kiminori, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh, delivered a lecture “Prospects of Economic and Security Cooperation between Japan and Bangladesh” at Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Bangladesh.
 
In his lecture, Ambassador IWAMA explained the key points of Japan’s Foreign Policy such as Official Security Assistance (OSA), Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP) and elaborated main features of Japan’s Defense Policy. He also mentioned the Japan-Bangladesh Strategic Partnership and described practical cooperations between two countries.
 
Around 270 course members, including those from 25 countries attended the lecture and discussed the bilateral relations between Japan and Bangladesh and other international issues.
