Japan & Bangladesh – A Group Art Exhibition inaugurated at Zainul Gallery in the University of Dhaka

In the evening of December 17, Professor Dr. Md. Aktaruzzaman, Vice Chancellor, the University of Dhaka and Mr. MACHIDA Tatsuya, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh inaugurated the exhibition named “Japan & Bangladesh – A Group Art Exhibition” at the Zainul Gallery, the University of Dhaka. The exhibition is jointly organized by Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh, the Department of Drawing and Painting, the University of Dhaka and sponsored by bKash Ltd. Associate Professor Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Ali, of Department of Drawing and Painting, the University of Dhaka, curated the event.
 
The exhibition is a part of a series of events to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bangladesh. The week-long exhibition will feature the artworks of seven prominent artists from Japan and nine from Bangladesh.
 
The exhibition will remain open to visitors till Thursday, December 22nd.
