Education matters more than 100 sacks of rice --Japanese traditional philosophy towards development will be depicted in the Uchimura award winning Japanese stage drama “One Hundred Sacks of Rice” (Ekshow Bosta Chaal) by the Bengali performers.  

The writer of this drama was Yuzo Yammamoto, while the Bengali translation was done by Prof. Abdus Selim and directed by Mr. Golam Sarwar.

The joint collaborative theatre production of the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy will be staged as follow:
