Experience of visiting Japan

A dream came into true while I was visiting japan. However, we had the chance for being in Japan through the JENESYS2.0 Program on 1-9 Dec, 2014 and it was a great opportunity for us. Going japan, exploring the historical site, religious place, and tourists-spot and getting familiar with their culture, cuisine, people, festival and many other things, all of these were an amazing experience.

When we reached in Japan it was a bright morning but very cold (totemosamuidesu). After completing the formalities at Haneda Airport, we glanced at Mount. Fuji for a while and at our first site it was an astonishing feelings. Then we started for Tokyo by bus.

We all know that Japan is very advanced in technology and we found the very touch of this advancement while visiting the Miraikan Museum. Fortunately we met there with robot Asimo, Android and so many. I was astonished to see the Tsunagari project, Geo-Cosmos, and Tokyo-tower etc. there.We have heard about Sinkansen (The Bullet train), we rode on it when we started for Kyoto from Tokyo. I think we were very lucky to see snowfall in Kyoto.

The ancient historical site and religious establishments as king-kaku-Ji Temple (the golden temple), Niju Castle, Nonomia shrine etc. attracted us with their architectural beauty. We also visited a dying industry in Kyoto and learned how to make a handkerchief.

Japan is not only rich with its technology and historical site but also its great natural beauty. We had the chance for spending a few hours with the touch of Arashi Yama and we explored there the incredible scenic beauty. It was really an unbelievable feelings walking through the bamboo groves and temples, climbing at the top of the Arashiyama (Iwatayama monkey Park), and observing the scenic beauty of Oi River.

Taste of Japanese food is extra-ordinary. They say,this type of cuisine keeps the original taste of each food and some of these are delicious.

Moreover, the people of japan are very friendly and polite. They are so sincere and punctual. We got a chance to spend 2 days in home-stay program within one of the Japanese family.I think it is one of my best journey and experience for being in japan……………
